Human Resources Assistant
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the employment function and in assisting in the daily operations of the Human Resources Department including the role of receptionist.
Primary responsibilities include: collecting & processing new-hire documents; administrative updates to the applicant tracking database & assisting with on-line application process; employment correspondence administration: assisting prospective applicants with routine employment questions; maintain HR job posting site; greeting visitors & handling routine inquiries; scheduling interviews/meetings; sorting & distributing incoming correspondence; handling telephone inquiries; and performing other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Shift: Monday- Friday, 8am-4:30pm*
*Interested applicants must note the hours are set and are not flexible. Due to the nature of the job, the successful candidate must be able to commit to these times.
Requirements:
High school degree or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources a plus.
3 years administrative experience required, preferably in Human Resources.
Employment Law knowledge preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) required.
Working knowledge of a Human Resource Information System a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills including phone and in-person.
Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Demonstrated high degree of accuracy in busy & dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Strict adherence to confidentiality.
Budget experience a plus.
Minimum Salary: $15.20
